Can I get into IISc without JEE?

 Indian Institute of Science is the best research institute that India has. It has constantly ranked 1 in NIRF rankings. Many science-lovers want to join Indian Institute of Science. But many IISc aspirants think that JEE is necessary for taking admission into Indian Institute of Science. But this is not true. Although KVPY has been abolished and JEE and KVPY were the only two methods for admission into Indian Institute of Science earlier, new modes of admission has been introduced by Indian Institute of Science recently. IISc provides two distinct undergraduate programs:

  1. 4-year Bachelor of Science (BS) program
  2. 4-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program.
